Official opening POAC 2019
On Monday the 10th of June the POAC 2019 edition will be opened by our Conference president Prof. Andrei Metrikine, followed by a word of the Dean of the faculty of civil engineering, Prof. Jan Dirk Jansen.
The presentations will start with an introduction to the Dutch arctic activities by the Dutch arctic ambassador, Mrs. Carola van Rijnsoever. After the first coffee break the programme will be filled with interesting presentations and a good lunch.
In the evening you will be able to see the city of Delft in a unique way. The historical city center is best to discover from its centuries-old canal belt. Tour ships will take you along every historical site and under the ancient arched bridges of Delft. The on- and off-boarding location is in the city center behind the Grote Markt (Big Market).
