Delft University of Technology is one of the most premier universities, and internationally acclaimed for its research output and technological innovations. The campus of TU Delft is equally impressive: stretching over 161 hectares through beautiful green park areas - it is larger than downtown Delft, and indeed one of the largest in the world.

Section Offshore Engineering at TU Delft is the group which conducts fundamental and applied research in the field of offshore engineering. The research is conducted in tandem with a lot of interest and cooperation from the offshore engineering industry. The group is also involved with the curriculum of the Offshore and Dredging Engineering Master. Focus of current research is based on modelling and analysing offshore structures under various conditions of wind, waves, ice etc. Developments in the Arctic region is one of the main research areas.
